Have you ever heard the term, “Love makes the world go ‘round?” It’s only partially true. If love makes the world go clockwise, selfishness makes it go counterclockwise. There are two sides to every coin: heads and tails. With that said, there are two sides to life: love and selfishness. Love thinks more about others, while selfishness thinks more about itself. Love gives without the expectation to receive; there are no strings attached. Selfishness gives only after receiving, or gives with the expectation of receiving.
Love shows kindness to all those with whom it comes in contact, while selfishness shows kindness to those whom it needs or from whom it wants to receive. Love highly esteems others and the things that are important to it more than it does its own needs, while selfishness considers itself and its needs more important than others.
Ok, Let's get started!
